News Update: Kindle expands distribution and will be sold in Staples stores

The AP reports that the electronic book reader Kindle will be offered at Staples stores in the fall. The product continues to expand its distribution. Staples joins Target Corp, which launched it's offering of Kindle back in June. Previously, Kindle was only available for purchase online on Amazon.com. As more book reader products enter the space, Kindle distribution strategy has changed. Staples is reported offering three different versions of the Kindle in stores. There is a version for $139 which is only Wi-Fi, a version for $189 which is 3G, and the most expensive version at $379 Kindle DX has a larger screen.
